Message from the artist:

I wanted to capture Churchill's defiance, both against the Axis forces abroad and the corrupt establishment at home, that was the cornerstone of his leadership. This painting depicts Churchill posing in his iconic gesture that, without mincing words, means "up yours," which became a rallying slogan among the Brits during the Blitz, Dunkirk, and other dark moments throughout the war. Outlined in a pop-art style, this painting captures Churchill unapologetically as he is, a reminder of the grit of his leadership, the strength of the British people, and the leadership we are all called to show during times of crisis.
