One of my biggest heroes is Winston Churchill. Recently, when I was in London, I was able to go into Churchill’s "War Rooms" and sit behind the microphone he would use to address the British people while in the bunker. I got chills thinking of how this man calmed his listeners even in the midst of the Blitz and other air raids. There are few men who could lead a people through a time like World War II with such tenacity, determination like Winston Churchill.

This painting is my rendition of an American U.S. postage stamp from the 1960s featuring Churchill, showing how good leadership is as rare as it is powerful, whose impact can traverse oceans and history alike.
